All Black superstar has Ulster fans dreaming of glory

The decision of a young current All Black rugby player to join Ulster next season is a demonstration of the strength of the game in these shores.

New Zealand sets the benchmark in the sport and Charles Piutau is regarded as one of their rising stars, yet he will sacrifice his international career by leaving the land Down Under.

Of course he will be handsomely rewarded with the sum of £1.2m being mentioned for the two-year deal. That is the sort of money most sports stars, apart from Premiership footballers and top-class golfers, can only dream about. Who would have thought that the Kingspan is really a field of dreams?
