After all the waiting, the challenge facing the two Irish football teams in next year's exciting Euro 2016 finals has been revealed.

Michael O'Neill's Northern Ireland will be in a difficult group, which includes the world champions Germany, in addition to Poland and Ukraine.

Martin O'Neill's side also have a tough draw, and will face Italy, Belgium and Sweden, all of them top European teams.

Both Irish squads have the odds stacked against them in progressing further, but the beauty of sport is its unpredictability, and both teams have done well to get so far.

We wish them all the best, in what is sure to be a great tournament which will interest everyone on this island.
