All war graves deserve dignity shown by Iraq veteran

Much praise is due to Eileen Scott, a veteran of the Iraq war, who has set about cleaning up the graves of military veterans which have become untended and unkempt in Movilla cemetery.

Eileen lost two colleagues in Iraq and she knows at first hand the horrors of war. Now in a moving personal campaign she is restoring dignity to the last resting places of war veterans who have been forgotten. Perhaps other people could follow Eileen's example and enlist the help of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission which is responsible for the upkeep of these places where veterans who gave their all can rest in dignity as well as peace.
