Anti-drugs video reinforces message to our children
The dangers of drugs are self-evident and many young people know people who have succumbed to this abuse. Yet drug use is so much part of life - and death - in some areas that traditional warnings from statutory bodies make much less impact than they should.
Perhaps that explains the huge interest in an anti-drugs video made by young people from Rathcoole which has been viewed an astonishing 240,000 times since it went online four days ago. This is young people speaking to young people, depicted in a way which rings true to many in that age group. It is a wonderful initiative and makes for compulsive viewing.
