Anti-social behaviour in our parks must be stamped out
Residents in several parts of west and north Belfast have been complaining about anti-social behaviour within their local parks.
This includes the dangers of scramblers and off-road vehicles, the misuse of alcohol and other drugs, and large numbers of young people who roam throughout some of the parks and open spaces across the city.
New measures are being implemented to try to deal with these problems, and not before time.
Our parks are meant to be safe places for recreation, not battlegrounds for those who do not know how to behave properly.
