Big star, big heart

Nadine Coyle is a superstar with a heart of gold. This Londonderry woman, part of the female supergroup Girls Aloud, is very much a "hands-on" Ambassador for the Northern Ireland Children's Hospice .

She has taken time out from a busy career this week to help make buns and put up decorations for today's Christmas party.

Nadine became involved practically - as so many people do - by witnessing how the Hospice can help families and children at a very difficult time.

She said she was so moved she decided to help in any way she could. That is the mark not only of a big star, but also of a caring human being.
