Brave Gordon Adair can help raise awareness in Parkinson's fight

BBC reporter Gordon Adair's reaction on being told that he had Parkinson's disease was entirely natural. He lay down on the floor and roared and then suffered something akin to despair for four months.

His account of living with the condition is one that will strike a chord with many people given a similar diagnosis - the wonder of when the degeneration will become noticeable, how will he provide for his young family, essentially wondering what the future holds. Gordon is to be commended for speaking out so candidly. It will help others come to terms with their own condition and raise awareness of how the disease can strike at any age.
