Cafe owner's alternative approach to illness a tonic

Editor's Viewpoint

Greg Hendron's decision to avoid as much medication as possible after being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and instead turning to a diet and lifestyle remedy can be viewed as either rash or brave.

But he says it is a method of controlling the condition that has worked for him.

And it is also working for him in another, more literal sense, as he and his girlfriend now provide many of the healthy menus and drinks he uses in a cafe they established in Belfast and which is proving popular with a growing band of customers.

Greg's independent spirit and quest for alternative remedies is a tonic in itself.
