Tony McCoy, who has won more jump races than anyone else, is consumed by his chosen sport. His intensity and drive are legendary and he ask for, nor gives, any quarter in a race.

But did he meet his match in his beautiful wife Chanelle? We carry an interview with his close friend, trainer Jonjo O'Neill, which contains an intriguing hint that she played a big part in Tony's decision to retire this season, possibly after Saturday's Grand National if he wins. Could it be that when Tony comes home after a hard day's racing, it is his wife who holds the whip hand and decides when the race is finally run?
