Compassionate Helen's tormentors the dregs of humanity

Editor's Viewpoint

Published 10/02/2016

Helen Madden is a remarkable woman who has come through many trials in her life to triumph as a compassionate, courageous person. Dyslexic and mercilessly bullied at school, suffering many physical injuries, she overcame fear and lack of confidence to rebuild her life and become a champion of neglected and abused animals.

Now after proudly announcing online that she had won an award for her work she was again targeted by faceless, cowardly bullies who posted the most horrific comments about her and her work. What a contrast between Helen, a beacon of hope, and her tormentors who show the vile, dark side of human nature.
