Crimper enters grey area with snippy remarks about Kate

Celebrity hairdresser Nicky Clarke must have known that his criticism of the Duchess of Cambridge for refusing to cover up her stray grey hairs will result in a welter of publicity. But is he right that women - unlike men - can only go grey when they are really old?

He might well need his scissors for self-defence if he uttered such remarks in the presence of local silver haired celebrity Pamela Ballantine, who shows that the hairstyle and the person's attitude to life is far more important than the colour. Women should be able to go grey gracefully if they so desire without having to suffer snippy remarks.
