Daring Irish give us chance to dream of World Cup glory

O la la! The Ireland rugby squad played one of the best games in its history yesterday evening by defeating France and topping its group in the stirring World Cup.

Many supporters and observers feared that the French would be stronger and better, especially after Ireland lost their talisman captain Paul O'Connell and Johnny Sexton to injury.

Yet with incredible courage, and great skill, the Irish deservedly triumphed in one of the best night's in Irish rugby. Magnifique! Now bring on Argentina in the quarter-finals.

There is also a need for caution. Ireland have suffered injuries to key players, and the Argentinian team should not be taken for granted.

However, it's so far, so good. We can all still dare to dream of more victories.
