Editor's Viewpoint: A job well done

The Belfast Telegraph came to the end of its campaign yesterday to create “ 100 jobs in 100 days”. And we are delighted to have exceeded that apprenticeships target with a final tally of 108.

This was no mean achievement, but the Telegraph was only one player in a group effort which worked hard to provide these important new opportunities for young people.

Therefore our thanks are due to all our partners, including the Department of Employment, the employers themselves, and the many other people from the business and political world who supported us. Well done everyone.
