Horticulturalists are astounded that a tree planted in a family garden has suddenly begun sprouting baskets of fruit. We keep hearing about global warming and climate change. Can this be the first signs of it in Northern Ireland?
If it is, what is in store for us? Will we wake up and find vines flourishing on the slopes of Mournes? A glass of Cote de Newcastle, anyone?
