Editor's Viewpoint: A wake-up call

There is no doubt that Stephen Nolan is a hard working radio presenter, but is he in danger of burning the candle at both ends? Once again he has slept in for his Radio Ulster show. While those he was planning to grill no doubt breathed a sigh of relief, it was a big disappointment for his listeners.

Given his no doubt lucrative salary, perhaps Stephen will now invest in a better alarm clock. After all his job is to talk about the topics that are making the news, not become a footnote himself through his non-appearance at the mic. Maybe someone should give him a hard time over missing his own show.
