Editor's Viewpoint: Brought to book

It seems Northern Ireland's women cannot get enough of the 'mummy porn' phenomenon that is Fifty Shades of Grey. While it has been flying off the shelves of bookstores, libraries are also finding that they cannot keep up with the ladies' demands for more and are having to order extra copies.

But the raunchy novel is not having the same appeal to men, at least as far as libraries are concerned. They report no males having the courage to ask giggling librarians for the book. Perhaps they are simply being acquainted with its contents at home.
