Editor's Viewpoint: Do believe the hype
In the world of British and Irish cinema, no new film is ever undersold. Hype surrounds the project until it goes straight to DVD, never having seen the inside of a movie theatre.
But there are high hopes for Good Vibrations, the biopic of the godfather of local punk, Terri Hooley. If all his music mates go to see the film then it should be a box office success. It is a strong opening to the Belfast Film Festival, with which this newspaper is a media partner, and we wish both ventures well in the coming weeks.
