Editor's Viewpoint: Donegal's sour note

Jim McGuinness has delivered the All-Ireland GAA football title to Donegal by redefining the way the game is played. Based on an impregnable defence and swift counter-attacking, backed up by astonishing fitness levels, he has created a new template for the game.

A pity then that, at his moment of triumph, he showed a lack of grace towards this newspaper's GAA Correspondent, Declan Bogue, by ordering his removal from his post-match press conference. Declan's crime was to write an award-winning book including details of Donegal's campaign last year which obviously incurred the manager's wrath. Jim, you may rule your team with a rod of iron, but the Press is still free.
