Gaa-mad teenager sisters, Geraldine and Nicole, faced a terrible dilemma, lining out for their Donegal county team in an all-Ireland match against Cork, or going to their sister's wedding. In the end, family loyalty won out - other members of the team also joined in the celebration.
Perhaps that explains why the team suffered a humiliating defeat. But it was the right decision. A family wedding cannot be repeated, but there will be more all-Ireland games next season.
