Neil Lennon may not be everyone's cup of tea but few can begrudge the praise he is due for guiding Celtic through to the knock-out stages of the Champions League.
He is a man operating on a shoestring compared to the untold wealth backing Chelsea and Manchester City, the English Premiership giants who exited the competition. Both those clubs are likely to be seeking new managers come the summer, with ex-Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola the prime target. Maybe they should look north of the Scots border instead. But then Lennie has a team in Glasgow, not prima donnas on hugely inflated wages.
