Editor's Viewpoint: Results aren't final
Tomorrow thousands of A-level students will see the fruits of their schoolwork when the exam results come out. As ever those results will be among the best - if not the best - in the UK. But along with the high achievers there will also be those who will face the disappointment of getting lower than expected grades.
While their dismay is understandable, they must realise that this one set of examination results is not the end of the world. They could opt for a different career choice, maybe seeking work rather than going to university, or they could decide to resit the tests. Whatever the choice, think carefully before making a final decision.
