Editor's Viewpoint: Room for growth
Whoever planted the idea that seed professionals from around the world should hold their annual congress in Belfast certainly saw it sprout beyond their wildest dreams. More than 1,500 delegates from 72 countries booked out the city's hotels - the first time this has happened for two years.
Indeed there were concerns that the gathering for the gala farewell dinner had outgrown every venue, until the King's Hall was dressed up for the celebration. All in all, it was a welcome boost to the local economy - perhaps even the first green shoots of recovery.
