Editor's Viewpoint: Support Northern Ireland against Italians

Northern Ireland's sports stars will be hoping to stage their own smash-and-grab Italian Job tonight when both the international soccer team and the Ulster rugby team take on opponents from that country.

On form, the rugby team's task is the easier as Ulster sets out on another Heineken Cup campaign with high hopes.

There is a huge gulf in the soccer rankings between Northern Ireland and Italy, but at Windsor Park our boys have beaten England and Spain in the past.

Tonight fans of both codes should get behind the local teams and help them make headlines throughout Europe.
