Editor's Viewpoint: The hunted Tiger

Tiger Woods may wish to deal with his "behaviour and personal failings" behind closed doors with his family, but that is no longer possible.

The media, having got a whiff of allegations of infidelity by arguably the world's top sportsman, is not going to let the story drop until every last sensational claim has been investigated.

It has taken intense pressure to get to the stage where the golfer admitted unspecified transgressions. He is a very private man but even his vast wealth cannot insulate him from the prying media spotlight. Tiger must realise that he is far from out of the woods yet.
