Good Vibrations will deservedly go on national release in cinemas throughout these islands tomorrow.

It is a feelgood film with great music and great characters, none greater than the man it is based on, Terri Hooley. And he is more worried about what Belfast audiences will think of it than the opinion of anyone else. Even prophets want honour in their own country. He shouldn't worry. It is a terrific story and one which reflects well on Northern Ireland. It has won rave reviews wherever it has shown at film festivals, from places as diverse as Texas and Russia. So if you want to go somewhere where you will feel a warm glow in these icy times, then pop along to your local cinema and see Good Vibrations. You will be glad you went.
