Most middle-aged men would gladly swap places with actor James Nesbitt - he of the glittering career, legions of adoring fans and a very convincing hair transplant.
Yet the man who is about to reprise his breakthrough role in the TV series Cold Feet has admitted to sharing the fears of many fiftysomethings. Not only is he concerned about how the new series will be received, but he also wonders if his career may stall, or if his life has peaked. To the rest of us, James' life couldn't get much better, and many men of his vintage would love to have his talent and prospects, never mind that greatest solace of all - a big bank account.
