Frank's backing of integrated education is a real cracker

The memory of the late Frank Carson is being kept alive in the best possible way through his donations to support integrated education in Northern Ireland, which provides such hope for the future.

Today another £50,000 of Frank's estate is being handed over at the Carson Awards. The project is being run by the Integrated Education Fund, to which the late comedian and his son, Tony, pledged £100,000 some four years before Frank's death.

Integrated education is a worthy idea that needs all the support it can get.

Frank's continued help from beyond the grave is a fitting epitaph for a fine and funny man.
