Game of Thrones real coup for Northern Ireland's image and economy

As its fourth season is about to air, Game of Thrones is now firmly established as a major broadcasting success and that is good news for Northern Ireland, which has featured heavily as a location for the fantasy series.

The fans cannot get enough of the storyline and even the world's most powerful man, Barack Obama, is so hooked that he requested a special preview of the new series.

Shooting on further series is expected to be announced shortly and again Northern Ireland should feature, further boosting its credentials as a film and television location.

The success of Game of Thrones does much for our image and even more for our economy, so let us hope that the cameras keep rolling into the future.
