Game on for GAA players to make their mark for charity
Michaela McAreavey, who was tragically murdered on her honeymoon, was a remarkable young woman and it is fitting that the foundation set up in her memory continues to instil in many young people the virtues that marked her life.
It is also apt that a record-setting 24-hour GAA football match - to benefit both the Michaela Foundation and Cancer Focus - is planned. Michaela loved the sport and her father Mickey Harte is a legendary manager of Tyrone. This is a great opportunity for players to write their names into the Guinness Book of Records while supporting two very worthwhile charities. Sign up now.
