Country music may not be the coolest genre, but there can surely be no more devoted fans than those who have camped out in the wind, rain and low temperatures to make sure they get their hands on the hottest tickets in town – for country superstar Garth Brooks who will be appearing at Croke Park.

Some fans have been queuing up for five days which must make bands like One Direction green with envy.

Is any concert ticket worth that level of sacrifice? Obviously those in the line feel it is a small price to pay. The rest of us can only stare in wonder and hope that they all get that precious piece of paper.
