Stephen Nolan suffered a sharp comment from his mother whom he filmed in her dressing-gown in Tesco's yesterday, but the incident reveals another side to this hard-working broadcaster.

He had just completed a massive stint on air, starting with his Radio Ulster programme on Friday morning, and ending up by broadcasting live from Nice on Friday evening.

He was also keeping an eye on the developing story of the attempted coup in Turkey.

No matter how tired he was, he was doing his best for his mother. Despite his travels and pressures, his heart is in the right place - at home with his mum.
