Help our punks rock the charts for a good cause

Christmas is a time when music flees the charts and either some timeless dirge or the latest hopeless offering from a soon-to-be-forgotten X Factor winner soars to Number One in yet another triumph for marketing. So why not join the punk rebellion this year and send a Northern Ireland song to the top of the hit parade?

Many of us are old enough to remember punk the first time around and our Godfather of Punk, Terri Hooley and a large band of ageing rockers have collaborated to produce a single aimed at the Christmas market. But it is about something much more important than just making a statement.

The proceeds will go to the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund for Children. Now isn't that a good reason to buy the record?
