Hurricane Flies

There was a time when the term "hurricane" applied to only one sporting star from Northern Ireland. That was the world snooker champion Alex 'Hurricane' Higgins, but now there is a new star on the horizon.

This is the racehorse Hurricane Fly which is owned by two Northern Ireland people, and it is the favourite to win tomorrow's Champion Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

The bookies are usually a sound guide to form, and Hurricane Fly looks like a good tip.

This "hurricane" hero is a good bet to receive a big cheer all from his Northern Ireland fans, win or lose.
