Inspirational mother Louise shows bravery beyond words

Two Belfast Marathon runners worthy of special mention are Louise James who lost five members of her family at Buncrana, and also Davitt Walsh who heroically rescued her daughter from drowning in that tragic accident.

More than 100 others joined Louise and Davitt in raising money for Muscular Dystrophy UK in memory of Louise's son Evan, who died at Buncrana.

The courage of Louise in taking on this challenge was most inspiring, especially so soon after that horrible day.

We should acknowledge the efforts of all the others who helped to pay tribute to the human spirit in working to overcome the darkest experiences imaginable.
