It's good to see the Fultons name back on high street
It is back to the future for luxury furniture retailers Fultons. The company, which was started in Lurgan 50 years ago, has opened up shop there again after entering administration during the downturn following the banking crisis.
It was forced to shut its Belfast showroom and cafe, where a pianist serenaded customers.
Fultons was a brand much admired by homeowners, but even its reputation was not enough to save it when customers began to feel the pinch.
Its re-emergence is due to the family who still run the business making a huge investment backed by the Ulster Bank. It is encouraging that both have confidence in the new venture.
