Kind-hearted readers ensure couple enjoyed their dream day

The generosity of Belfast Telegraph readers - indeed the Ulster community at large - never fails to tug at the heartstrings. Moved by our story of terminally ill Portadown man Willie Turner's desire to marry his fiancee Lyndsey Browne, people rallied around to ensure that his dream came true and that the couple had a magnificent wedding with all the trimmings.

All those involved deserve a massive thanks for their devotion to the couple and their generosity. Their only reward was the beaming smiles on the couple's faces and the joy of their children, but on such an occasion that alone was worth its weight in gold.
