Lapland trip gives ill children a magical Christmas

One of the heart-warming stories this Christmas is that of the 120 seriously ill children who were flown on a day trip to Lapland to meet Santa Claus himself.

Behind this " dream come true" there was the hard work of the Northern Ireland Children To Lapland Trust, the charity which raised the funds to make it all possible.

The real Santa Claus in this tale is Jack Rodgers, the President of the NICLT, who has raised some £2m over 40 years for children's charities, and he used his entrepreneurial skills, with others, to make this Christmas so special for the ill children. What a magical Christmas present for everyone concerned!
