Leah's our winner

She was a hot favourite from the beginning and last night Dr Leah Totton became the first person from Northern Ireland to win The Apprentice. Her stunning looks and her plan to open cosmetic clinics led to criticism from some quarters of the media who tried to portray her as a bimbo, but it was evident to everyone else that she was a highly intelligent and motivated young woman.

Like most reality shows, the successes of victors on The Apprentice have been mixed. However, Leah Totton does seem a cut above most previous winners. She is intensely focused on her career and her potent cocktail of brains and beauty mean that her's is a name which we will be hearing more of. Congratulations, Leah, you have done us all proud.
