Let's hope joys of Scrabo Tower are not out of bounds for long

Published 22/04/2014

It is unfortunate that Scrabo Tower, a landmark on the Co Down landscape, is to be closed for a considerable period of time during the height of the tourist season. It is an iconic building and popular for those wishing to gain a spectacular view of the area and out into the Irish Sea.

However, the remedial work should be carried out as speedily as possible so that visitors can again enter this unique vantage point.
