Let's hope Sir Alan thinks Grainne is the real McCoy

The BBC series The Apprentice still provides good television viewing, despite its relative longevity over the past few years and the same format again and again.

Sir Alan Sugar still rules with charm and a hint of hard steel, but the real interest lies with the contestants and how they cope, or fail to do so.

Some last only a short time, while others who appear to linger in the background initially somehow manage to reach the final stages. The ultimate decision is taken by Sir Alan, who may not always be right.

A number of Northern Ireland contestants have done well, and local girl Grainne McCoy is featuring in the latest series. We wish her well.
