Let's not forget the gem that is St George's Market

The Continental Market at Belfast's City Hall is a big attraction at this time of the year. It offers customers something different from the usual retail offering. But sometimes we overlook another market gem in the city – St George's Market. It is there year-round and offers a wide variety of goods – including fresh food – from its many stalls.

Additionally, a visit to St George's is a boost to the local economy as all the stall holders are from the province. Belfast is lucky to have two very different markets in operation simultaneously.

But we should not let the novelty of one detract from the value of the other.
