Let's wheel in behind rugby hero Chris as he recovers health
News that doctors have identified the health problem that forced Ulster and Ireland rugby player Chris Henry to undergo exploratory surgery will be warmly welcomed by his many fans.
He is suffering from a heart condition, but one that doctors are confident can be successfully treated. Indeed, there are suggestions that he could be back playing rugby in a relatively short period of time.
Given the success of the Irish team in the autumn internationals, it would be great if Chris could again be part of the squad before next year's World Cup. There are precedents for elite sportsmen recovering from cardiac conditions to play again at the top level.
However, the real goal must be to restore him to full health. All else is a bonus.
