Listen up, soon we'll all be M.A.D. about the boys

The entertainment business is full of fairy-tale stories of success, as well as heart-rending failures.

However, Michael Sutthakorn, the former teenager busker in Belfast, is one of the good news stories and he seems set for stardom with the latest boy band, called M.A.D.

Already their debut single titled Toyboy has reach No 37 in the UK charts, and who knows how far this new band will go.

Northern Ireland has a good record of success in the pop world, but it still requires a certain talent, and good fortune, to break in to the "big time".

This is one happy story which gives us all that good "end of year" feeling, and here's to the further success of M.A.D. in 2014.
