McCoy shows us one more time why he's a living legend

Only a mug would have bet against AP McCoy, the greatest National Hunt jockey of all time, in yesterday's charity race at Doncaster. True to form for a man who rode more than 4,300 winners during his career, he was again first past the post in the aptly named Leger Legends race.

His very name on the racecard added hundreds to the crowd, showing the love that racegoers have for him even though he retired earlier this year. It was a great gesture for him to take part in the event designed to raise money for the Injured Jockeys' Fund, but it certainly got his competitive juices flowing again. Will we ever see his like again?
