Miley Cyrus's good girl gone bad nothing but a tired pop cliche
Miley Cyrus, who is bringing her show to Belfast later this month, seems determined to be remembered for her sexually provocative act and shock statements.
The one-time Disney pre-teen idol has long since cast off her wholesome image, attracting criticism for her apparent encouragement of drug taking and lurid stage antics.
But then many of today's celebrities gain enormous publicity through similar tactics. Their talent is almost secondary to what they do and say. So perhaps the best response is to ignore them. For if there is one thing which hurts people like Miley most, it is the indifference of the public.
