Miracle child a just reward for parents' unerring faith

Every parent regards their children as miracles, but Liam and Cindy Glass have more reason than most to use that term.

Having been told by doctors three times to have a termination because their baby would be born without a spleen, would have other medical complications and would be unlikely to survive outside the womb, the strongly religious couple held to their beliefs and were rewarded with a son who has a perfect spleen and whose medical complications should not stop him leading a full life.

One can only admire those who believe their child deserves a chance of life, no matter what its potential quality may be.
