Sadly the death has taken place of Margaretlee Hilton, the terminally ill woman who gave birth to a little girl at just 25 weeks.

In a recent interview with the Belfast Telegraph, Margaretlee told us of her wish to live long enough to hold her baby in her arms, and finally she was able to do so.

It is a very sad human story, but also inspiring because of the bravery of this young woman whose aim was to stay alive long enough to enable her baby to live. Yet it is also an inspiring story for that little girl in the years to come. She will always take comfort from the memory of her mother's courage.
