Mother's fund for Thomas creating a positive memory

In August 2005 young Thomas Devlin was murdered during an unprovoked attack in north Belfast which horrified people from all backgrounds.

His mother Penny Holloway campaigned courageously and successfully to bring his killers to justice.

With great determination, she also set up a fund in his memory to help other young people. The idea was to help them to pursue a career or experience the richness of the creative and performing arts.

So far a wide range of young people have benefited, and it is heartening to know that despite Thomas's most evil murder, the power of the human spirit can triumph and create something positive.
