New Glens ace Nacho man who has his priorities right

Professional sportsmen and women in their pursuit of excellence can become quite selfish, putting career above even family commitments on occasion.

So it is refreshing to hear from former Rangers footballer Nacho Novo that he decided to sign for Glentoran so that he can see more of his young son.

Nacho, who had been playing in America, could have gone to India for greater rewards than those available in the Irish League, but seeing his son - who lives in Scotland - regularly and even taking him over to Belfast to watch dad play is something that he cannot put a monetary value on. He is a man who obviously has got his priorities right.
