Only a comprehensive win for Brendan's Bhoys will do

Tonight is redemption night in Glasgow. At least that will be the hope of Brendan Rodgers as his Celtic side takes on Lincoln Red Imps of Gibraltar after the embarrassing 1-0 defeat on the Rock.

That was probably the worst result in the Glasgow club's history, and nothing less than a comprehensive victory tonight will ease the pressure on the Carnlough man.

Celtic may be a team of faded glory, but it still has a massive following in Scotland and Ireland, and the fans demand greater success than the investment in the club warrants or can achieve in these days of virtually unlimited budgets.

Tonight may be the first step on the road to new glories.
